Multiple grades share new site aimed at diverse school audiences
PORTLAND, OR – (September 10, 2008) - OakTree Digital announces the launching of a new unified website for the Beaverton-based Valley Catholic School. The new unified site includes content for the high school, middle school, elementary school, early learning school, as well as the music school.
The Sisters of St. Mary of Oregon (SSMO) organization, which administers the school, was founded in 1886 and established their first school in Beaverton in 1903. Valley Catholic School has a rich history of quality education, sports programs and community service.
One challenge in designing this site was to retain the special character and content needs of the different schools, or grade levels, while unifying this content under the VCS umbrella. The site is managed by the school staff using editing and blogging tools implemented by OakTree Digital.
