OpConnect Site Launched
Portland, OR August 10, 2009 -- OakTree Digital announces the launch of a website for the developer of a new electric vehicle (EV) charging station. The OpConnect Electric Vehicle Charging System is a product of Beaverton, OR based Optimization Technologies, Inc. This exciting new product is being introduced this week at the Plug-In 2009 EV trade show in Long Beach, CA.
The OpConnect Electric Vehicle Charging System represents an advanced network of electric vehicle charging stations that can not only charge, but one day will also communicate with, a variety of electric vehicles. Registered OpConnect customers can use the MyOpConnect website to manage their accounts, locate the closest OpConnect charging station, and remotely check the status of their battery recharging.

Optimization Technologies was founded in 2001 and is a minority- and veteran-owned business with expertise in software and hardware development. They have a successful business history in the aerospace industry with customers including Boeing, Rockwell Collins, Honeywell, Sandia Aerospace, and Aerosonic.

OakTree Digital built the new site using the Sitefinity (.NET) content management system. OpTech needs a quick and easy-to-use tool for them to manage the site content, and one that will support expansion as needed.
